Instructions for Use Firmly place an article flat against the plastic window at the end of the Rainbow Color Reader. Then press the button on the top of the Rainbow Color Reader
Do’s and Don'ts Make sure the object is held firmly against the window when the button is pressed. If the object is thin, shiny or very dark, then double or even triple the fabric or paper. Place the color reader in a vertical position along the face of the material for best results. Multiple measurements of the sample, at different angles, can produce the best results, especially for dark colors or fabrics with a nap. If more than one color is present, then a compromise color may be read. After multiple uses (approx. 24-30 in a row), please let the unit rest for a minute to insure accuracy If the speech is slow, scratchy or does not read, then the AA battery may need to be replaced. Slide the battery cover on the rear of the unit to the right, and replace the battery with the button end going in first. Please do not drop in Water.
